The Lakes Entrance Fisherman’s Cooperative is a group of catchers of Wild Fish from the South East of Australia. Comprising Lakes and Estuary, inshore and open ocean fishermen using a range of sustainable catching methods – the program has been developed to deliver the catch of the fishermen, direct to the market.
Handling protocols have been developed for every aspect of the programme from catch to pack, resulting in the supply of a range of unique species, many of them underutilized. With a focus on building a sustainable commercial opportunity for the local community, the Lakes Entrance Fishermans Coop programme is focused on building a broad portfolio of consistently, available, sustainable seafood.

Range

A range of sustainable, wild caught fish and seafood including: Flathead, Gurnard, Latchet, Ling, Luderick, Yellow Eye, Stargazer, Sole, Southern School Whiting, John Dory, Mirror Dory, Goulds Squid, King Prawns, School Prawns, Balmain Bugs.
