Cloudy Bay Clams have developed a world’s best harvesting system for the fishing of wild surf clams. Operating in the sensitive 2-10m sub-tidal surf zone around New Zealand, the harvesting protocols have zero impact on the environment and <1% mortality on the harvested clams.

The clams are purged for 56-72 hours prior to being packed and blanched in their natural liquor – resulting in a clam with a uniquely high meat to shell ratio and a shelf life of 1 month, chilled. Available fresh year round. Certified sustainable by Friend of the Sea.
